KAS-DP CAS: in Practice
Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) are the three strands that emphatically demonstrate the holistic aspect of the IB Diploma curriculum at King Abdulaziz School, Al Madinah.
CAS is structured as a carefully balanced practice reflecting creativity, activity, and service. It is a shared experience supported by the KAS community, local community as well as a global community.
The outcome of CAS is a measure of experiential learning, and personal development such as collaboration, participation, and decision-making and perseverance skills that students acquire during their Diploma studies at King Abdulaziz School.
We find interacting with CAS is one of the greatest means of reinforcing the IB Learner Profile, the ATL skills and international mindedness, helping our students’ acquisition of capacity for life-long learning and excellent preparations for university studies, careers and life.
