Deputy Head’s message

I am Mubeen Safura, an Indian with a passion for lifelong learning and a desire and commitment to bring a positive change in the world through quality education programmes. I believe that schools have a role not only to ensure that students reach their full academic potential but also understand different ways to contribute positively to the society by providing the framework for future generations in terms of a balanced, healthy and fulfilling life. I am fascinated by the way technology is increasingly influencing how people connect, collaborate and learn. I believe in positive relationships leads to overall growth with clear communication, honesty and trust.

Students learn best when they are happy, engaged, challenged, supported and respected as individuals which are followed ardently at King Abdulaziz School (KAS), an International Baccalaureate (IB) IB World School, for overall holistic development of students.

As an IB consultant and Deputy Head of KAS, with a double Bachelor’s in Science and Education and pursuing M.Ed. in Advanced Teaching and Learning and Educational Leadership endorsed by IB from University of People, Pasadena, USA, over 17 years of  Educator and Leadership roles in IB and 8  years of IBEN ( International Baccalaureate Educator Network) experience in both Asia-Pacific (IBAP) and Africa, Middle East and Europe (IBAEM) regions, I intend to enrich the students of KAS to help them to develop into independent, caring and knowledgeable life-long learners who value and respect cultures in making the world a better and more peaceful place to dwell for all.
